Our designer



Isa Tapia is a Manhattan-based women’s footwear designer. Prior to launching her namesake label in 2013, Tapia studied at Parsons School of Design and went on to work for designers such as Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta, where she spent time in Italy learning the ins and outs of shoemaking.

Tapia, who was part of the 2014-2016 CFDA {Fashion Incubator}, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She resides in New York City and spends much of her time traveling to Europe, Asia and South America.

These experiences combined with Tapia’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to unveil her own line of standout footwear in 2013.

Isa Tapia has been a CFDA Member since 2016.
